Things to Do in Tacoma |
Solstice Plaza 21 - 23 Sep 2007 (annual) Seattle's Fremont district goes positively Germanic with this two-day "Oktoberfest", featuring not just the prerequisite array of frothing German beer, but also yodelling, traditional folk dancing and German foods.

Paramount Theatre 10 - 24 Sep 2007; Mon only (annual) For three consecutive Mondays in September, Seattle's Paramount Theatre pays homage to the building's heyday by screening great silent movies to the accompaniment of its marvellous Wurlitzer organ. The 2007 series celebrates Charlie Chaplin and screens nine of his films in three triple bills.
